Under the program “Flash-the-light to save Elephants of India”, torch-light was distributed to forest staffs in Jhilimili and Ranibandh areas of Bankura districts of Southern West Bengal. The project was funded by Voice for Asian Elephant Society.
Nature Mates for a period of one year conducted biodiversity and elephant fodder study in Bankura and Purulia districts of southern West Bengal as part of the habitat restoration project of Uttarayan (NGO). The project was funded by Rainmatter Foundation.
