Nature Mates - Nature Club
At Nature Mates, we are dedicated towards the welfare and conservation of Wildlife. Established in 1995 as a part of Nature Club initiative of WWF India, and registered as an independent organization under West Bengal Society Registration act in the year 2006.
Nature Mates' mission is to develop an ecosystem wherein wildlife and human coexist. Irrespective of the vulnerabilities we are working on landscape as well as taxa based conservation approach, joining hands with local people.
Our efforts are focused on education, species and habitat conservation, human-animal conflict mitigation, gathering biodiversity knowledge and reaching out to citizen (through our citizen science programs), nature education and community outreach, healthcare, alternative livelihood and disaster relief to forest fringe villagers and animal rescue.
